The RoleWe are seeking a Non‑Executive Director who brings strategic insight, governance capability and a demonstrated commitment to our purpose and values.As a Director, you will play a key role in:Setting and monitoring strategic directionStrengthening organisational performance and sustainabilityOverseeing financial, clinical and operational riskSupporting constructively the CEO and Executive Leadership TeamUpholding solid governance, integrity and values‑based leadership




Skills and ExperienceWe are particularly seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:Priority CapabilitiesClinical or allied health leadershipSenior executive or business owner experience in a health or human services settingOperational leadership across multi disciplinary teams including HR, IT and financeStrong commercial acumen and strategic financial literacyGovernance, risk and compliance experience in regulated environmentsDesired CapabilitiesExperience as a Board Chair, Deputy Chair or Committee ChairUnderstanding of government, policy and funding environmentsGraduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
Expectations of the RoleDirectors are expected to:Attend a minimum of six Board meetings per yearParticipate in one Board Sub-Committee Engage in strategic planning sessions, immersions and occasional out‑of‑session mattersPrepare thoroughly and contribute constructively to Board deliberationsAct as ambassadors for SensesWA and its purpose
