Daily Tasks
- High reach forklift operation, 7 bays high, single bay deep
- Both pallet and unit picking and packing using RF scanning and high reach RC and RM forklifts for both warehouse and truck loading/unloading operations
- Completing manual handling duties
- Working within a Chiller environment - PPE Provided (Jacket)
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
- Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality, hazard and risk issues to the relevant leadership teams
Skills required
- Current forklift license essential, previous RC and/or RM stand-up forklift experience desirable
- Previous Freezer and/or Export operations favourable
- Warehouse and/or Distribution experience or similar required
- Understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Work well independently, within a team environment
- Communicate well both written and verbally
- Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
- Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
- Flexibility to cover various shifts such as regular weekend work and public holidays
