About the Role
Due to a expanding project pipeline, an opportunity has opened for an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join the pre-construction team in Brisbane.
You will lead pricing strategy from concept to final submission across a varied portfolio, ranging from corporate HQ fit-outs and government tenancies to major precinct projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of commercial tenders, trade package scoping, and BOQ preparation.
- Conducting detailed value engineering, constructibility reviews, and risk assessments.
- Leveraging established relationships with SEQ subcontractors to secure competitive trade pricing.
- Collaborating with Pre-Construction Directors and Project Managers during ECI and tender negotiations.
- Leading post-tender presentations and handover meetings with project delivery teams.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of estimating experience within the Australian commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or interiors sector.
- Strong knowledge of the South East Queensland subcontractor landscape and current market rates.
- High proficiency in standard estimating software (Buildsoft, Cubit, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of winning profitable Tier 2/3 commercial tenders.
- Strong communication skills with a pragmatic, commercial mindset.
