About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Victorian Costs Data Collection, you will be responsible for the Victorian Healthcare Incident Management minimum dataset, and other relevant duties to address emerging priorities. The ability to understand data management concepts, problem solve issues independently, identify emerging issues, escalate as appropriate and interact with a variety of stakeholders is essential.

About you:
- Support the continuous improvement of valid and reliable performance information on the safety and quality of each health service and campus in ways that support uptake and use of that information to strengthen oversight and support improvements in care.
- Manage, interpret, and apply business plans and policies in own area of responsibility and provide advice to others on design and implementation issues.
- Manage the allocation of resources within and the outputs required of the work area to achieve service delivery goals and expectations.
- Experience in the development and maintenance of measurement and information systems to support routine, high quality reporting on health and community services including inputs, processes, and outcomes.
Qualification/Specialist Expertise
- A Health Information Management qualification, or similar tertiary qualification is desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience in data management.
- Familiarity with health datasets and/or health service experience is desirable.
- Experience in the development and maintenance of measurement and information systems to support routine, high quality reporting on health and community services including inputs, processes, and outcomes, is highly desirable.
