The Sandalford vineyards span across the Swan Valley and Margaret River regions, producing an award-winning portfolio of premium wines including the Prendiville Reserve, 1840, Estate Reserve, Margaret River Range and Winemaker collections. Combining innovative viticultural practices with a progressive winemaking team, Sandalford has earned a long-standing reputation for quality and world-class winemaking.
We are currently seeking a full time Vineyard Operator to join our vineyard team at the Sandalford Estate in Caversham. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will assist with all aspects of premium grape production while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
The Role
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in producing premium wine grapes. The successful candidate will have experience across vineyard operations, machinery operation and general farm duties, with a willingness to contribute wherever required.
About You
- Experienced in operating tractors and vineyard machinery; with a mechanical aptitude as maintenance experience will be highly regarded.
- The ideal candidate would have experience with pruning, vine training and canopy management.
- Knowledge of pest and disease control, including spray application.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic maintenance.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including seasonal demands.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and a Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last six months).
