The opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail‑driven Licensed Conveyancer to join our growing Active Property and Conveyancing team in Wollongong. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client‑focused setting, enjoys managing matters from start to finish, and takes pride in delivering a seamless conveyancing experience.

As a key member of our property team, you will handle a diverse range of conveyancing matters while building strong, trusted relationships with clients, agents, and other professionals.

The Role

This position is hands‑on, client‑facing, and central to the smooth running of our conveyancing practice. You will manage your own files while contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.

Conveyancing Responsibilities

- Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to settlement.

- Prepare, review, and advise on contracts for sale and purchase.

- Conduct property searches, due diligence, and compliance checks.

- Liaise with clients, agents, brokers, solicitors, and external stakeholders.

- Handle PEXA settlements, transfer documents, and associated tasks.

- Maintain accurate file notes, timelines, and workflow management.

- Provide clear, timely updates to clients throughout their matter.

- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure matters progress smoothly.

Client Service & Communication

- Deliver a warm, professional, and reassuring client experience.

- Explain processes and legal concepts in a clear, accessible way.

- Build strong relationships with repeat clients and referral partners.





- Support the broader team with client enquiries and general assistance.

What You Bring

You will excel in this role if you are:

- Current NSW Conveyancer Licence with a minimum 1-year experience in conveyancing.

- Confident using PEXA, or similar practice management systems.

- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

- Skilled at balancing multiple matters and deadlines calmly and professionally.

- A strong communicator with a client‑first mindset.

- A collaborative team member who contributes positively to workplace culture.
