About Us
We are a growing small business delivering a wide range of utility services across multiple projects. Our work spans all aspects of utility infrastructure, and we pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliability, and a strong team culture.
We have commenced a new gas project, involving the replacement of existing gas services, and we’re looking for an experienced tradesperson to join our team.
About the Role
This role will be predominantly focused on gas service works, with opportunities to be involved in other utility services depending on experience and workload.
You’ll be working as part of a small, hands-on team on active sites, contributing to both project delivery and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Replacement of existing gas services on the ATCO Gas Network
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of gas services
- Working to ATCO specifications, procedures, and safety requirements
- Reading and interpreting plans and job documentation
- General utility works as required
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience working on the ATCO gas network or other utility’s ie water, power, comms
- Proven experience locating and excavation around utility services
- Drivers licence MR
Desirable requirements
- Cert III civil construction
- Plant tickets
- First aid
- Traffic management
- G Class
About You
- Proven experience working around live services and utility infrastructure
- Solid experience in gas works (desirable, not essential)
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance
- Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Able to work well in a small team environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
