BlueFit is proud to be commencing an exciting new partnership with the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters to manage the iconic Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre and Norwood Swimming Centre.

Together, we’re embarking on a recent chapter for one of Adelaide’s most loved community aquatic facilities, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant destination where people of all ages and abilities can be active, healthy and connected.

At the heart of this partnership is a shared commitment to helping children develop the confidence, skills and awareness to be safe in and around water. Every lesson delivered is an opportunity to build lifelong water safety skills, support healthier communities and give parents peace of mind knowing their children are learning in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment.

As part of our foundation team, you'll have the unique opportunity to help establish the culture, programs and customer experience from day one, guided by BlueFit's proven operating systems and commitment to excellence.

Whether you're an experienced leisure professional or looking to kickstart your career in community aquatics,



we have flexible casual opportunities available across four key roles:

- Customer Service Officers: The friendly face of our venue! Welcoming families, handling bookings, processing memberships, and keeping reception buzzing with positive energy.

- Pool Lifeguards: The ultimate safety champions! Ensuring water safety, supervising pool deck areas, and maintaining pristine aquatic environments.

- Duty Managers: Leading day-to-day shift operations, coordinating deck teams, managing venue presentation, and handling incident responses.

- Learn to Swim Instructors: Inspiring confidence in the water! Teaching vital, lifelong swimming and water safety skills to local children and adults in a fun, supportive environment.

Qualifications & Requirements (Or Willingness to Obtain)

- Valid South Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.

- Role-Specific Qualifications:

- Lifeguards / Duty Managers: Valid Pool Lifeguard License.

- Swim Instructors: Recognized Swim Teacher / Water Safety Certification.

- Duty Managers: Pool Operations / Plant experience (highly regarded).
