Girl Guides Queensland is looking for an experienced Property & Facilities Manager to oversee our portfolio of Guide halls, campsites and community facilities across Queensland.
This is more than a property management role. It's an opportunity to use your expertise to support an organisation that empowers almost 3,000 girls and young women through adventure, leadership and community.
Working remotely with flexible schedule (3–5 days per week), you'll manage property operations, maintenance, compliance and contractor relationships while partnering with our dedicated volunteers to ensure our facilities remain safe, welcoming and fit for purpose.
This is an initial three-month contract, with the possibility of extension (subject to organisational requirements).
What you'll do
- Manage a diverse portfolio of Guide properties across Queensland
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and compliance
- Build strong relationships with volunteer property stewards, members and contractors
- Help deliver safe,
sustainable facilities that support our mission
About you
You'll bring:
- At least five years' experience in property or facilities management
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work independently in a remote role
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
Experience in the not-for-profit or membership sector will be highly regarded.
