We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Team Leader at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.

A fantastic opportunity to lead a team of hospitality professionals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service in Casino Bars.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the F&B; Supervisors/Managers in the productive operation of Casino Bars/Outlets, ensuring service standards and business requirements are consistently met.

- Assist in beverage stock control, bar presentation, and operational readiness.

- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails.

- Deliver exceptional customer service while taking food and beverage orders.

- Communicate promotions, events, and operational updates to team members.

- Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked bar and service areas (i.e. benches, tables, restock condiments).

- Accurately process cash and EFTPOS transactions using the Micros POS system.

Criteria

- Previous experience in a Senior Attendant, Supervisor, or Team Leader role.

- A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

- Thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail preparation.

- Professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.

- Competent in numeracy,



and the ability to understand a rostering system.

- Ability to supervise, train, and encourage staff to perform to a high standard whilst maintaining an effective, motivated work group.

- An understanding of compliance requirements, including RSA, RSG, WHS, and food safety standards.

- Willingness to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

All Food and Beverage applicants are required to possess a current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Attainment Certificate.
