As a Mechanical Fitter with AES, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring machinery operates efficiently, safely and reliably while minimizing downtime. The role will also support the completion of special builds, service trucks and water carts, including the installation and fitment of trays, accessories, PTO/HYD systems and associated mechanical components.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Fit and install trays, toolboxes and associated equipment to service trucks and specialized builds
- Install, fit and commission PTO/HYD systems and associated mechanical components
- Carry out mechanical fitment and modifications to service trucks, water carts
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals and work instructions
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure operational efficiency,



reliability and compliance with safety standards
- Operate hand and power tools and precision measuring equipment
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workshop safety
- Work collaboratively with managers, supervisors and other trades to support operational requirements
- Perform additional duties within your skills, qualifications and level of competence as required.

What we are looking for:

- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
- Experience with special builds, service trucks, water carts or heavy mobile equipment
- Strong safety focus with a working knowledge of WorkSafe regulations
- Ability to work autonomously
- Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, WAH, Crane, etc
