We're partnering with a large, purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Project Support Officer.
Working within a friendly and collaborative Planning and Performance team, you'll coordinate projects, support organisational planning, prepare performance reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across a complex higher education environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Planning and Performance, you'll join a close-knit team of experienced planning and performance professionals responsible for supporting the organisation's 2030 Strategic Plan.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you may be preparing briefing papers and presentations for senior leaders; the next, coordinating program reviews, analysing performance data, supporting stakeholder workshops or tracking the progress of key strategic initiatives.
Ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects, you'll play an important role in keeping planning activities organised, stakeholders connected and organisational priorities moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning activities, meetings and project documentation
- Prepare skilled reports, presentations, briefing papers and meeting minutes
- Collect, collate and analyse information to support organisational reporting
- Assist with performance reporting and KPI tracking
- Coordinate reviews, including scheduling, documentation and stakeholder liaison
- Support workshops, consultation activities and stakeholder engagement
- Build positive working relationships across multiple business units
About You
You'll be naturally organised, proactive and enjoy working behind the scenes to help projects succeed.
You'll also bring:
- Experience in project coordination, business support, administration or governance
- Exceptional written communication and document preparation skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working with data, reports and spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience within education, government, consulting or other large, complex organisations will be highly regarded.
If you're an organised professional who enjoys coordinating projects, producing quality work and helping teams achieve their goals, we'd love to hear from you.
