As our Australian business continues to grow, we're looking for an additional Management Accountant to join our Brisbane team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an opportunity to become a trusted commercial partner, providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making and the successful delivery of major renewable energy projects.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role that combines technical accounting expertise with commercial business partnering. Working closely with Project Managers, operational leaders and our global finance team, you'll ensure accurate financial reporting, support project performance, and help drive continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

- Prepare month-end management accounts, statutory financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and support external audits, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with Project Managers and operational teams to monitor project budgets, forecasts, margins, cash flow, WIP and overall financial performance, providing timely commercial insights and identifying potential risks.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and project financial administration, including milestone billing, project reviews, claims, and financial governance.
- Build strong relationships across finance, project and operational teams, translating financial data into meaningful insights that support informed business decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing financial reporting, analysing business performance,



and working collaboratively with local and global finance teams to improve processes and consistency.

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with the business and can confidently balance technical accounting with commercial partnering.
You will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Proven experience preparing month-end accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial compliance.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting project-based businesses through financial analysis, project reporting and cost management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and communicate financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems, ideally within construction, engineering, infrastructure or renewable energy environments.
