We are seeking a Workshop Assistant to support the maintenance and repair of our growing fleet of vacuum and jetter trucks. Based at our Malaga depot, you’ll work closely with our Workshop Manager to ensure all vehicles are well maintained so our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be responsible for

- Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet of trucks- Vacuum, Sweeper, Jetter, Prime Mover and Tipper trucks.

- Safe operation of appropriate machinery, tools and required equipment.

- Assisting with various metal fabrication and welding tasks.

- Complying with the requirements of our Quality Management and OHS System as well as WHS regulations.

- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop.

What you'll need to be successful

- Construction White Card

- C Class Drivers Licence (HR Drivers Licence desirable)

- Welding experience (preferable)

- Ability to follow instructions, work independently and employ critical thinking.

- Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
