An opportunity has arisen for a Building Inspector to join the team in Townsville, working primarily across residential projects.
This is a site-based role, ideal for a Supervisor or Builder looking to step into a more structured, long-term career while still being hands-on and out on site
The role will involve:
Conducting in office residential building inspections
Ensuring compliance with the NCC and relevant legislation
Working closely with builders and contractors
Identifying defects and providing practical solutions
Supporting the certification process through inspection stages
ABOUT YOU
Background as a Builder or Supervisor (essential)
Strong experience across residential construction projects
Solid understanding of construction methods and site practices
Ability to read and interpret plans
Good communication skills and confidence dealing with site teams
Organised and detail-oriented
