Centre Chef – Boutique Early Learning Centre

About the Role

As our Centre Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving fresh, nutritious meals and snacks each day while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals that meet the nutritional needs of young children.
Catering for allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences.
Creating seasonal menus that children enjoy.
Managing food ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen.
Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and centre policies.
Building positive relationships with educators,



children, and families.
Contributing to a warm and welcoming centre culture.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys cooking from scratch, values nutrition, and takes pride in delivering high-quality meals every day.

Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in childcare, education, aged care, or hospitality.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge of food allergies and dietary requirements.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
