Volley Recruit is partnering with a leading South Australian civil contractor delivering major SA Water, stormwater, sewer, watermain, road construction and subdivision infrastructure projects across Adelaide.
Due to continued growth and a solid pipeline of secured work, we're seeking experienced Senior Civil Pipelayers to join a well-established team delivering some of South Australia's most significant civil infrastructure projects.
The Prospect
Working as part of an experienced civil crew, you'll play a key role in the installation of underground utilities and associated civil infrastructure.
We're looking for pipelayers with proven experience across:
SA Water infrastructure projects
Watermain installation
Sewer and stormwater installation
Deep trench excavation
Bedding, laying and joining pipe
Installation of pits, junctions and maintenance holes
Reading construction drawings and levels
Working safely around live underground services
Assisting with testing, commissioning and reinstatement works
Applicants with experience across multiple disciplines will be highly regarded.
Highly Regarded
Skid Steer ticket and operating experience
Roller ticket and operating experience
HR Driver's Licence
Experience working around live services
Ability to assist operators and lead by example within a crew
About You
Proven experience as a Civil Pipelayer on infrastructure projects
Robust understanding of trench safety and underground service installation
Ability to read plans and work to levels
Current White Card
Relevant civil construction experience
Robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively within a team
Willing to assist with general civil duties as required
