We are currently seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining plant reliability, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a busy production environment.

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you'll perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, equipment repairs and installation work to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site.

Overtime paid at 150% for the first 3 hours and 200% thereafter

Roster
This position operates on a rotating roster of day and afternoon shifts:
Day Shift: 4:00am – 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and maintain production targets
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability




Assist with installation, commissioning and upgrades of machinery and plant equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency and productivity
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and standards

About You
Current QLD Electrical Licence
Previous experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or production setting
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Experience with PLCs, automation or CMMS systems will be highly regarded
