About the role

Perth Multi Electrics is seeking a casual Administration and Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Malaga, WA. This is a casual position with flexible hours. As an Accounts Assistant, you will provide essential support to our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient day-to-day operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation and supporting our wider business objectives.

What you'll be doing
Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
Maintaining and reconciling financial records
Data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems
Preparing documentation for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements
Filing and organising financial documents and records
Performing general administrative tasks to support the accounting function
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers regarding financial matters

What we're looking for
Previous expereince in administration, data entry, or accounts




Solid attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
Competency in basic bookkeeping principles and practices
Valuable numerical aptitude and the ability to work with financial data accurately
Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
A willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills
