PLANET GLASS is seeking a Draft Person to join our team in Maddington, Western Australia. Experience is key but not essential as training will be provided. As a full time employee, you will play a crucial role in issuing shop drawings to projects.
What you'll be doing
Producing detailed and accurate architectural/shop drawings with CAD software
Collaborating closely with clients, designers to translate design concepts into detailed drawings and production list
Ensuring all drafting work adheres to architectural and structural requirements
Providing support and assistance to the production, fabrication and installation teams as needed
Uploading detailed records and documentation for all drafting projects to correct file folders on the server.
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in architectural drafting or a related field
Proficient in the use of CAD software, with a strong understanding of architectural design principles
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical challenges
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
