Tanglewood Organic Sourdough Bakery is a small artisan bakery based in Noosaville within Belmondos Organic Market. We are a busy wholesale bakery using artisan skills, hard work and the best local produce to stock cafes, restaurants, markets, our own 2 retail bakeries and other shops on the Sunshine Coast.
We are seeking a Baker to join our team.
About the role
The right candidate will have a positive eye for detail and presentation of product, able to follow systems and procedures. Willing to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Must be willing to work the oven and rotating roster
Must have experience in artisan sourdough bread and croissant making.
Must have knowledge of food handling and hygiene.
Must be willing to start at midnight & weekend shifts.
Must have good communication skills & work within a team.
Strict adherence to food safety regulations.
Essential requirements:
Certificate III in Retail Baking
A outstanding attitude;
Proven experience in similar roles;
Ability to work flexible schedule;
Strong product knowledge,
including artisan sourdough, croissants and pastries;
Proven track record;
Career minded; and,
Current Food Safety Certificate.
