Bayvac Pty Ltd, trading as Eagle Earthworx, is a Central Coast-based civil earthworks and contracting business specialising in civil trenching, pipelaying and drainage works for electrical contractors on commercial projects. We work across a range of civil infrastructure projects and are known for reliable, high-quality workmanship in office.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Pipelayer/Drainer to join our team on a full time basis. This is a hands-on site-based role working on civil trenching and drainage projects for commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Lay, align and grade pipes for stormwater, sewer and drainage systems in accordance with plans and specifications
Excavate and prepare trenches to correct depth, width and grade for pipe installation
Install pipe bedding, backfill and compact trenches to required standards
Read and interpret civil engineering plans, survey marks and site drawings




Operate and work safely alongside civil plant and equipment on active worksites
Ensure all work complies with WHS requirements and relevant Australian Standards

Skills & Experience Required
Relevant trade qualification in drainage/pipelaying, or at least 3 years’ relevant hands-on experience in civil pipelaying/drainage work
Sound understanding of trenching, pipe-laying and drainage installation practices
Ability to read civil plans and work to grade/level requirements
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Current driver’s licence; White Card required

Other Requirements
Reliable, physically capable of manual civil construction work
Able to work as part of a small on-site crew
Own reliable transport to and from site (site locations vary across the Central Coast region)
