The Richmond Inn has been a Hawkesbury local since 1864, and we're looking to add a Duty Manager to our team. Excellent little pub with bistro, public bar, TAB, function space, accommodation, gaming and one of the best beer gardens in the area — there's plenty going on. We are looking for someone confident enough to own a shift while on duty and drive customer service.

The role

Reporting to the Licensee, you'll be the go-to on the floor — running shifts, leading the team, looking after guests and keeping everything ticking across the Venue. You'll be the face of the Venue when you're on shift, so you'll need to be hands-on, calm under pressure, and the kind of person staff want to work with and customer's respect.

What you'll be doing
Running shifts across bar, bistro, TAB and gaming
Leading and supporting front-of-house staff
Handling cash-ups, banking, end-of-night, reporting and compliance
Looking after guests and resolving any issues on the floor
Overseeing gaming compliance and responsible service of alcohol
Liaising with Security guards
Managing functions and events when they're on
Stock checks, ordering and supplier liaison as needed
Managing a busy bar




Following opening and closing procedures

What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in a licensed Venue
Current NSW RSA and RCG certificates
Current First Aid certificate
Solid gaming experience — comfortable around pokies, payouts and gaming compliance
TAB experience
Functions and events experience — you've helped run them, set them up, or managed them on the night
Robust leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Available to work a mix of day shifts, night shifts, weekends and public holidays (this is pub life!)
