Reporting to the Manager Technical Services, you will lead a team supporting the integrity, safety, and geotechnical risks at BHP’s Carrapateena operation.

The Geotechnical team is responsible for supporting secure production of the deepening SLC whilst developing a brand-recent block cave (and associated infrastructure).

This is a fantastic prospect to step into a challenging leadership role at an operating caving mine, that is also in the process of expanding to block caving.

Through insight and innovation, you will identify and implement improvement initiatives that enable functional excellence and support business priorities for continuous improvement. It is essential you can develop and maintain effective working relationships with the operations teams, project teams, and other departments.

This position is based at Carrapateena on a 4 days on / 3 days off FIFO roster from Adelaide.
