CDC is on the hunt for enthusiastic locals who are keen to support with school runs Monday to Friday, during school terms.

Additionally, we are looking to offer adaptable ad-hoc hours for those interested in casual charter driving including weekends and afterhours options.

School Bus Driver

This position is responsible for safely transporting primary and secondary school students to and from school, Monday to Friday school days only along pre-determined designated routes of travel.

Charter Driver

This position is responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations across the Sunshine Coast and further if required.

Qualifications:
Current Queensland Medium Rigid Driver's Licence or higher
Valid work visa or Australian work rights required

Experience:
Heavy vehicle experience
Bus driving experience (desirable)

Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn recent skills, apply training and follow direction
The ability to think clearly in a crisis and to keep calm
Patience, whether its traffic or loud passengers you'll have the presence of mind to know its just what it is.

For successful applicants we are offering the following:




School Bus Drivers - 20 hours per week made up of Monday to Friday school run shifts covering morning drop offs and afternoon pickups.
Charter Driver - Casual ad-hoc work with the flexibility to accept Charters
