You will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, overhaul, testing and repair of a wide range of hydraulic components including:

Hydraulic Cylinders - small to Ultra-class mining equipment, Hydraulic Pumps. Hydraulic Motors, Control Valves, Hydraulic Jacks, Hydraulic power units and associated equipment.

You will work in a up-to-date workshop equipped to handle everything from small industrial components through to large mining cylinders.

Responsibilites - strip, inspect abd assess hydraulic components. Diagnose wear, damage and component failures. Complete repairs to OEM specifications. Assemble and pressure test hydraulic equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics. Maintain accurate service reports and measurements. Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards. Works both independently and as part of a skilled team.

Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour

Experience:
overhauling hydraulic pumps,motors,cylinders & valves: 5 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Mechanical Fitter/fitter and turner equivalent (Preferred)
