Position Details
Employment Type: Casual
Locations: Heidelberg Heights & Coburg North (both locations are mandatory)
Shifts: Monday to Sunday
Availability on the weekend is essential
Expected Availability: 3–4 shifts per week
Operating Hours: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Start Time: Availability to commence shifts at 6:00 am is essential.

Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years' barista experience
Excellent spoken and written English is essential
Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent personal hygiene and presentation
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a rapid-paced workplace
Full availability to work across both locations

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages to our standards.
Operate coffee machines and grinders.




Deliver friendly customer service, take orders, and process payments.
Serve pies, pastries, and other food items while maintaining food safety standards.
Heat, plate, and present products according to shop procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, service area, and dining area throughout the shift.
Restock display fridges, pie warmers, takeaway packaging, and other supplies.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning tasks.
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and food items, reporting shortages when required.
Support the team during busy service periods to ensure productive service.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Assist with training new team members when required.

Pay
The position will be paid in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award (MA000119).
