About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Upholsterer / Motor Trimmer to join our growing specialist automotive manufacturing team. This role involves high-quality interior fit-outs for mobility vehicles, including seating systems, trims, and custom upholstery components.

This is not production-line trimming. Precision, pride in workmanship, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Automotive upholstery and trimming work (seats, cushions, panels, armrests, headrests.




Cutting, sewing, shaping, and fitting vinyl, leather, fabrics, and foams
Modifying and assembling custom seating systems
Ensuring high finish standards and consistency across builds
Maintaining a clean, protected, and organised work area
Working collaboratively with engineering and fabrication teams

Desirable (but not essential)
Experience with custom or specialist vehicle builds
Experience trimming wheelchair-accessible or modified vehicles
Trade qualification in Upholstery, Motor Trimming, or similar

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent, Fixed term, Subcontract, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
