Tara Forklift Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team in a permanent, full time position.
About You:
AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, Mechanical Trade, or an equivalent/relevant qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience
Robust knowledge of diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Proven ability to inspect, service, repair, and test forklifts and related equipment
Confidence in using diagnostic scanning tools and service manuals
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Replace defective or worn parts
Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational performance standards
Conduct post-repair testing, including test driving where required
Salary:
$75,000 – $85,000 per annum, dependent on experience and current market rates.
