• Organising and controlling the operations of a hairdressing or beauty salon.

• determining product mix, stock levels and service standards

• formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices

• promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services

• selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use

• maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

• undertaking budgeting for the establishment

• controlling selection, training and supervision of staff

• ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations





• Day to day operations of business including all checklists and reports to be filled out and submitted

• Administering policies and procedures

• Management of time and team members time

• Overseeing the POS system with the salon coodinatorto ensure that all is running smoothly

• Ensuring the highest levels of service is provided for our clients by our team members

• Management of team members, ensuring they are meeting Leah’s Waxworks standards

• Motivation and recognition of team members

• Management of customer complaints

• Organisation of team member meeting

• Preparing agenda items for team member meetings

• Ensuring Salon policy and procedures manual is read by all team members

• Reporting items of team member and customer incidents

• Reporting of sales figures

• Assist Owner in implementing marketing items in the salon

• Assist owner in items as requested
