Sales & Marketing Professional – Food Import & Distribution

We are a privately owned food import and distribution company seeking a self-driven and hardworking Sales & Marketing Professional to manage and grow our extensive retail customer base. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for developing current key accounts in both ethnic and non-ethnic market segments.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with existing retail customers while identifying and onboarding recent business opportunities.
Sales & Target Achievement: Meet and exceed set sales targets through proactive engagement and strategic selling.
Marketing & Promotions: Execute marketing activities such as direct promotions, product tastings, and in-store sampling. Update retailers on promotions, new product launches, and special offers while ensuring proper display of company products and marketing materials (brochures, posters, leaflets, etc.).
Customer Service & Business Development: Regularly interact with customers to take orders, assess stock levels, and explore growth opportunities.
Payment & Order Follow-ups:



Respond to sales inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments via email, phone, and in-person visits.

Requirements:
Proven sales experience with a quick learning ability and strong interpersonal skills.
Well-presented and proactive with a results-driven mindset and a passion for achieving sales targets.
Fluency in English & Hindi is mandatory.
Extensive knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas is essential.
Daily driving is required (reimbursed for fuel and insurance expenses for using own car as per travel diary).
Familiarity with South Asian food products is an advantage.
