About the role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment / diesel engines. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all plant equipment is in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and plant equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, trucks and earthmoving equipment
Ad hoc tasks as required
On site servicing and maintenance when required

About You
Qualified Diesel mechanic (Mandatory)




Experience with Plant Equipment preferred and highly regarded!
Preferably HR / HC truck licenses
Must have experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and earthmoving equipment.
Forklift / machine tickets preferred
Solid mechanical and electrical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
