Permanent part time position on a Tuesday and Thursday available for an experienced practice nurse (RN). You will be joining a nursing team with 2 other fantastic nurses. This role has the potential to increase hours in due course.

Essential skills and experience required:
Previous experience as a practice nurse in a General Practice is required
Previous experience in Chronic Care is required
Excellent communication skills
Proficient computer skills
High levels of organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
Experience using Best Practice is highly desirable
Immunisations certificate (highly desirable, or willing to obtain)
Experience in health assessments and chronic disease care plans
Full Australian work rights

The role would include (but not limited to):
Occasional Chronic disease management
Wound management
Immunisations
Occasional CMA
Assisting GP's in minor procedures
Triaging patients
Maintenance of practice equipment and stock




Ear Syringing
Iron infusion
Creating processes and procedures

We are looking for a high energy, positive nurse to join our team that is patient focused and shows initiative.

The practice is open every day but you will be rostered on a Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5pm in our Treatment room and Chronic Care Clinic. Flexibility to cover additional annual leave and sick leave will also be required.

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 – $44.46 per hour
