Our client builds marine electronics used on boards all over the world. It's niche, it's genuinely cool tech, and the team behind it is tight-knit and proud of what they make.
We're not expecting you to know anything about foiling or electronics. We're looking for someone with a good head on their shoulders who can follow instructions, learn rapid, and turn their hand to whatever's needed that day. they'll teach you everything else.
What you'll be doing? No two days will look exactly the same. You might be:
Assembly of products
Pprepping parts
Cleaning & housekeeping
Checking finished products for quality
Helping keep stock and inventory on track
Pitching in wherever the team needs a hand — including some heavy lifting as we prepare to move sites to Lonsdale
What we need from you:
Ability to pick up recent steps quickly and follow process
Good attention to detail
Reliable — you show up, on time, every time
Easy to get along with and happy to muck in as part of a small team
Comfortable chatting while you work, as long as the work still gets done
No formal experience required — though if you've worked in manufacturing, assembly, that's a bonus.
The details:
Contract length: 12 weeks, full time, 5 days a week (flexible) - potential for long term role
Location: St Marys, SA (site relocating to Lonsdale during the contract)
Pay: $33.40 - $37.00 per hour
