About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our growing team. Our business specialises in residential and commercial painting projects across Kangaroo Island and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding and filling imperfections.
Apply primers, sealers, paints, stains and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Repair minor surface defects and carry out patching where required.
Mix and match paint colours to customer specifications.
Protect surrounding surfaces with masking and drop sheets.
Work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding when required.
Maintain tools, equipment and a clean work environment.
Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard and within project deadlines.
Communicate effectively with clients and other trades on site.




Follow all Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent trade qualification), or significant industry experience.
Minimum 2 years of painting experience.
White Card.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valuable communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of manual work.

Desirable
Experience with wallpaper installation/removal and decorative finishes.
Working at Heights or EWP ticket (preferred but not essential).
