About the role

Lead delivery of Council's roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure. Scope, budget, and execute construction and maintenance programs and major contracts while managing cross-functional teams to drive strategic regional outcomes.

Duties
Scope and execute civil infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to standard.
Oversee quality, safety, environmental management systems, and compliance audits.
Manage high-value contracts, tender administration, and procurement functions.
Lead and mentor engineering, fleet, asset, and property team members.
Prepare monthly Council reports, business cases, and community engagement plans.

Skills & experience
Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Current Class C Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White) Card.
Project management qualification or extensive civil project delivery background.
High-level skill in contract administration, budgeting, and project scheduling software.
Proven leadership capability with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
