Supporting Abilities For Everyone (S.A.F.E) is hiring a disability support worker for the following role:

North Melbourne:
11 year old twin male participant(s), spinal muscular atrophy type 2 diagnosis
Monday's 7:00 am – 9:00 am
Monday, Thursday, Friday and occasional Wednesday 3:00 pm – 5:15 pm, Saturday inactive overnight.
Requirement to be able to cover all (if not, majority) of shifts.
Requires support with school pick-up, afternoon snacks, showering and dressing, exercises, homework assistance.
Manual handling and hoisting experience advantageous. Training provided.
Personality that can connect and enjoys working with kids mandatory.
Two support workers and a parent generally always on site.

This role is looking to be filled as soon as possible.





Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
Valid Australian Driver’s License.
A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
The right to work in Australia.

Pay: From $41.50 per hour
