Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard.
Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards are met.
Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control.
Work efficiently during busy service periods.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service. Communicate regularly with the café owner to discuss improvements and customer feedback.
Essential requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
Solid communication and teamwork skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Availability to work weekends when required.
Full Australian working rights. A positive attitude and passion for quality food.
