Female Domestic Cleaner – Casual Position

About the Role

Iris Life Care is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Female Domestic Cleaners to join our growing team across Canberra.

In this role, you will provide domestic cleaning support to clients in their homes, helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. This is a flexible casual position suitable for individuals who enjoy meaningful work and supporting others in the community.

Key Responsibilities
Perform domestic cleaning duties including:
Vacuuming and mopping
Dusting and wiping surfaces
Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
Laundry and linen changes
General household tidying
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Support clients respectfully within their home environment
Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and professionally
Report any concerns or hazards to the management team
Work collaboratively with the wider support team
Be flexible to travel to different client locations as required

What We’re Looking For
Experience in domestic or residential cleaning
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
A reliable,



respectful, and professional approach
Well-developed English communication and interpersonal skills
Availability for versatile shifts across weekdays and weekends
Candidates working under ABN arrangements will be preferred

Mandatory Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Police Check
