We have an opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering training and assessing competency for our new and existing employees across our range of heavy vehicles. Our national fleet consists of over 300 trucks ranging from HR to MC vehicles. Our transport division undertakes local and interstate transport activities, transporting our own products throughout the country. Our vehicles are serviced and maintained in our in-house workshops.
Responsibilities
Delivering and developing internal training programs
Conducting on-site training with current and existing employees
Ensuring employees are trained to operate in line with company standards
Maintaining current industry knowledge and skills for the various vehicles our employees will be trained in
Qualifications
A current MC licence and extensive driving experience (Volvo experience would be an advantage)
Formal qualifications in training and assessment
A strong understanding of mass management and fatigue management rules
A robust understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
