Senior UX UI Designer – 6 Months at Temple & Webster

You’ll shape user journeys, guide product direction and deliver thoughtful, intuitive and commercially effective design outcomes across a fast‑moving digital ecosystem.

About The Role

As Senior UX UI Designer, you’ll lead the full design lifecycle across research, concepting, prototyping and delivery. The role works closely with the Head of Customer Experience and partners deeply with Product, Engineering and Customer Experience teams. Your work will uplift usability, support new features and ensure design decisions are grounded in insights and proven UX/UI practice.

What You’ll Do
Own UX/UI direction across key digital initiatives
Create high‑fidelity prototypes, interaction flows and design systems in Figma
Test to inform and validate design choices
Work directly with engineers to deliver practical and scalable solutions
Facilitate workshops, reviews and design alignment sessions
Communicate design rationale clearly and influence stakeholders across the business

What We’re Looking For
Expertise in Figma (essential)




Strong background in highly transactional environments such as retail, travel, loyalty or large digital platforms
Solid understanding of React as the core framework used across our workflow
Storybook experience is helpful but not essential
Ability to land quickly in a contract setting and build momentum quick
Comfortable working with complex technical ecosystems and engineering teams
Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Curious, thoughtful and committed to creating meaningful customer experiences
