About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Agricultural Auto Electrician to join our growing team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on a wide range of agricultural machinery and heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently in workshop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on agricultural and heavy-duty machinery
Install, test, and maintain wiring systems, sensors, ECUs, and control systems
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards
Requirements
Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (or equivalent)
Proven experience with John Deere heavy duty and/or agricultural equipment
Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Knowledge of modern electronic control systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers licence (HR licence an advantage)
Willingness to work overtime or on-call as required
