A well-established community pharmacy and aged care group in Bendigo is hiring for a split role covering both community pharmacy dispensing and Aged Care In office Pharmacist (ACOP) work across facilities. This is a high-volume pharmacy with a genuine focus on qualified services, including vaccinations, prescribing, and health screening, not just a script-filling operation.
What You'll Be Doing
Community pharmacy side:
High-volume dispensing and checking
Clinical services and professional service delivery
Patient-facing consultations and health screening support
ACOP side:
Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) support across aged care facilities
Resolving medication-related problems in collaboration with nursing staff, GPs, and families
Conducting medication reviews
Supporting safe medication management during transitions of care
Working under the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards for clinical governance
What We're Looking For
Current AHPRA registration, no conditions
HMR/RMMR accreditation highly regarded (not essential)
Aged care and/or community pharmacy experience desirable
Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
Patient-centred approach
Comfortable working across multiple facilities and settings
