THE ROLE
Work closely with a Director and Senior Manager, supporting a fee base of $1.5 million and playing a genuine leadership role within the team
Mentor and assist a team of 4 junior accountants, including an undergraduate — helping to develop the next generation of talent
Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements for a diverse client portfolio
Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, present financial results and build trusted, long-term relationships




Identify tax planning opportunities and structuring advice relevant to client circumstances
Contribute to internal process improvement and team development initiatives
Step into real CFO advisory work — including monthly and quarterly dashboard reporting, business strategy and growth planning — for clients who rely on you as a trusted advisor

YOU
CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) with around 5 years of experience in an Australian practice environment
Confident preparing and reviewing compliance work
Comfortable with Xero and cloud-based tools
Previous experience or strong aptitude to do advisory work
A natural communicator who can lead juniors, manage upwards and present confidently to clients
