Brisbane | Automated Warehouse Setting

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a highly automated, state‑of‑the‑art facility in Brisbane. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting advanced automated warehouse systems, working closely with on‑site teams to ensure maximum uptime and performance. You'll play a key role in preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement, while also supporting the wider team with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems
Diagnose and resolve electrical, PLC, and mechanical faults
Ensure all maintenance activities meet OEM standards
Update and manage work through CMMS systems
Support team leaders and assist in training new technicians
Liaise with international technical support teams to resolve complex issues
Monitor spare parts usage and provide recommendationsWork closely with operations teams to ensure smooth site performance
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimisation




Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times

About You
Electrical Licence (essential)
Experience working within automation, intralogistics, or warehouse environments
Strong fault‑finding skills across PLC, VSDs, and electrical systems
Experience using CMMS systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechatronics systems
Robust problem‑solving ability and ability to work under pressure
Team player with a proactive and safety‑focused mindset
