AEC Mount Waverley is on the lookout for experienced ECC vets or GP vets who feel that spark when an emergency case walks through the door. Were Melbournes first-ever emergency centre purpose built from day one and well be celebrating 50 years next year. Our team is tight-knit reliable and low-turnover and were only recruiting because one of our vets is heading overseas.

Emergency work is rapid varied and incredibly rewarding. One moment youre stabilising a GDV the next youre guiding a family through a late-night crisis. Theres no such thing as a predictable shift and thats exactly why we love it. Many of our vets hold memberships or additional qualifications so theres always someone around to learn from laugh with or bounce tricky cases off.

All new vets come through our structured induction program with supervised shifts and steady support from senior clinicians. Whether youre already in ECC or stepping across from GP youll never be left on your own.

What were looking for
A veterinary degree registrable in Victoria
ECC experience or at least two years of GP experience with the confidence and curiosity to move into emergency
A calm head kind heart and strong communication skills




Willingness to work a mix of day night and weekend shifts
