Senior Structural Engineer – Ports & Marine

Based in Brisbane, you’ll join Aurecon’s global centre of excellence in Ports, Marine & Coastal, playing a key role in shaping and delivering projects across Australasian ports.

What You’ll Do
Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.
Work with high‑performing multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.
Deliver high‑quality advice that informs decisions.
Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.
Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.

What You’ll Bring
Relevant engineering qualifications and 6+ years’ experience with substantial experience in marine structural and port engineering.
Proven ability to shape, lead and deliver projects across the full lifecycle.




Strong track record of building trusted client relationships through high‑quality delivery, with solid project and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to learning and developing alongside industry‑leading technical experts.
Ability to communicate complex marine and structural concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
Solid structural engineering foundations, with the capability to develop bespoke design solutions and mentor junior team members.
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
