Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm (6:30am starts to resume seasonally) + Saturday 7:00am - 13:00pm
Volley Recruit is partnering with a well-established civil contractor to recruit an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a major Defence infrastructure project based in Osborne.
This is a long-term opportunity to lead experienced crews delivering critical infrastructure works within a secure Defence environment. You'll remain on the Osborne project for its duration, with project completion expected beyond the current financial year.
About the Role
As the Civil Supervisor, you'll be responsible for safely leading site operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered to program and specification.
The project includes:
Demolition of existing infrastructure
Drainage and pipe laying
Detailed civil infrastructure works
Footpath and car park preparation
You’ll play a key role in planning daily activities, maintaining productivity and ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are achieved.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or Leading Hand ready to step up
Robust background in stormwater, drainage and pipe laying (essential)
Experience managing crews on civil construction projects
Ability to read plans and coordinate site activities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
Mandatory Requirements
Due to the nature of the project, applicants must have:
Ability to pass a National Police Check
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
White Card
Current Driver’s Licence
