Following an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in Silverwater .

About the Role

This role plays a critical part in maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance and employee trust across multiple entities within the Group.

You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll delivery, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while supporting statutory reporting and award interpretation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across Group entities
Preparation and reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax reporting
Managing employee payroll enquiries with professionalism and accuracy
Processing terminations, adjustments and maintaining data integrity
Interpretation and application of relevant awards and agreements
Supporting audit, compliance and reporting activities
Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls

What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation
Solid understanding of payroll compliance obligations and reporting
Exceptional accuracy, discretion and attention to detail
Experience using UKG/Kronos and Payroll Metrics (highly regarded)
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines independently
A team-oriented mindset and professional accountability
