Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Brighton

Leading London law firm with a solid reputation for property work are looking for a paralegal / conveyancing assistant to join their busy residential team and provide both fee earning and administrative support. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will be expected to build rapport and relationships with established and current clients and act on your own initiative.

Duties will include:
Assisting a small team of fee earners with their caseload with all aspects of the transaction from instruction through to post‑completion
Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms




File opening
Companies House Registrations
File closing including matter balances

It is essential that you have gained some experience in residential work as either a paralegal / conveyancing assistant / property administrator. You must be proactive and work well within a team as well as autonomously.
